Due to popular demand we are now offering Linux Mandrake 9.0 for the XBOX. This is the XBOX version of Mandrake Linux 9.0. It is identical to the two-CD standard installation of the PC (x86) version in all means, except for the installer and some minor adjustments of the kernel and system configuration. It includes the latest versions of Gnome, KDE, OpenOffice.org, XMMS and many more.

We supply Linux Mandrake 9.0 on DVD-R media, it comes as a 2 disc set:
- Disc 1: XBOX Linux Installation.
- Disc 2: XBOX Linux BOOT.
To be able to use XBOX Linux Mandrake 9.0, you must have a V1.0 XBOX that is fitted with a modchip. Be aware that a V1.1, V1.2, V1.3, v1.4 or v1.5 XBOX will NOT run Linux Mandrake 9.0. please use: Linux Debian/Xebian.
Installation is very easy, just insert the Installation disc into the XBOX drive and boot from it. There will be detailed instructions on the screen. In short, just type "setup8" if you have an 8 GB hard drive, or "setup" if you have a larger hard drive and Linux will be installed.
To boot Linux, you have to insert the Boot disc into the XBOX drive, Linux will then start from the hard disk. Once it's loaded and running then the Boot disc is no longer required and you can eject it by typing "eject" in a console window, at which point you will be running your XBOX under Linux. Now not only can you play your favourite games, movies and music but you can also surf the web, talk to your friends on IRC and even send and receive emails.
Please Note: You will also require a USB keyboard and mouse which must be connected to the XBOX using an XBOX-USB adapter.
